The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) and the Royal Naval Association (RNA), together with representatives from the Royal British Legion (RBL), will be attending the Remembrance Service at St John’s Church on Sunday, 9th November, where wreaths will be laid at the memorial.
As in previous years, a parade will also take place on Armistice Day, Tuesday 11th November, at 11am, at the top of Broad Street. The ceremony will include the reading of the Kohima Epitaph and will be supported by a bugler.
Please note that the parade will require a temporary closure of the Broad Street junction for a short period, usually no more than 6 to 8 minutes, to ensure the event runs safely and respectfully.
Volunteers will be on hand wearing high-visibility jackets to assist with traffic control during the ceremony.
