Looking After Our Trees

Every two years, New Alresford Town Council arranges for Hampshire County Council’s Arboriculture Team to carry out an independent survey of trees at Stratton Bates, Arlebury Park, Sun Hill Recreation Ground and Memorial Gardens. The survey checks the health and condition of the trees and identifies any work needed to keep them safe.
The M3 will be closed in both directions between junctions 8 and 9 from 9pm on Friday 23 October until 6am on Monday 26 October.

The M3 will be closed in both directions between junctions 8 and 9 from 9pm on Friday 23 October until 6am on Monday 26 October.
The closure is needed to safely demolish and remove the northern section of the old roundabout bridge structure above the M3, which is no longer required now that traffic is using the new junction layout.
