Did you know that New Alresford Town Council sets aside part of its annual budget to help local charities, voluntary groups, and other not-for-profit organisations? These community grants are designed to support projects and activities that bring a clear benefit to the town and its residents.

The Watercress Line opens its stations
The Open Weekend gives visitors a chance to explore our engineering hub at Ropley Station to view current restoration projects throughout the yard, engineering shed and carriage shop viewing gallery, as well as enjoying a journey along the glorious South Downs National Park by steam & diesel trains.

Itchen Valley Parish Council are launching a campaign to better connect communities on the 67 bus route, kicking off by capturing information about how residents currently use the service and where the service might fall short. The information obtained will formally feed into discussions with Hampshire County Council.

New Alresford Town Council is delighted to confirm that this year’s hanging baskets and trough displays have now been installed throughout the town.
The colourful displays are a much-loved feature of New Alresford each summer and help create a welcoming and attractive environment for residents, visitors and local businesses alike.
New Picnic Benches Installed at Arlebury Park

We’re pleased to let residents know that four new Picnic benches have been installed at Arlebury Park.
Two benches have been positioned at the top of the field beside the pétanque gravel playing area
