New Alresford Golf Club

St Johns Church

It has been the Parish Church of New Alresford since 1851. However, we know from the Domesday Book that there was a church in New Alresford soon after the Norman Conquest. Until 1851 it was part of the Parish of Old Alresford.

Allotments

The Alresford allotments are located along the quiet lane of Spring Gardens SO24 9QB, bordered on two sides by watercress beds. Many of them look a stunning sight in the growing season and an annual exhibit can be seen at the Alresford Show in September.

Thursday Local market

The market held every Thursday is the direct successor to Bishop de Lucy’s market and is run by New Alresford Town Trust.
