Funfair (aka The Sheep Fair) from 3pm Broad Street 15th October 2026

For one day only! From 3pm to 10pm on the Thursday 15th October, Broad Street is completely filled with the lights and sounds of a huge Funfair. The best night of the year for anyone under 20, and quite a lot of people over 20 too! This fair has been running for centuries, originally as an annual Sheep Fair, then evolving into a Victorian Pleasure Fair, and now a traditional Funfair. (Please note that Broad Street is closed to traffic from noon on the Wednesday till 7am on the Friday).
