Hampshire County Council has advised us that carriageway retexturing works are due to take place along Winchester Road, Alresford, between New Farm Road and Ladycroft.
The works are currently scheduled to begin on Monday 27 July 2026 and are expected to take one night to complete.
The road will be closed between approximately 8pm and 6am, but will remain open outside of these hours.
During the works:
• Vehicle access for residents and businesses will be maintained where it is safe to do so
• Pedestrian access to properties will not be affected
• Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times
Advance warning signs will be put in place for road users.
Please be aware that the works are weather dependent and may need to be postponed at short notice. Any significant changes to the scheduled dates will, where possible, be displayed on the yellow information boards located at the works area.
