Perins School Coach Turning Area & Lower Car Park – Resurfacing Works
Winchester City Council has advised us that resurfacing works are due to begin on Monday 27 July 2026 and are expected to take approximately one week, weather permitting.
The works will be carried out by Rocon Contractors Ltd on behalf of Winchester City Council and will include:
• Resurfacing the coach turning area within the Perins School grounds
• Reinstating the existing red parking bays
To allow the work to be carried out safely and efficiently, the shared access to both the coach turning area and the lower public car park will be closed from the first day of the works.
Both areas will reopen as soon as the works have been completed.
Winchester City Council will be providing advance notice to local residents and businesses, and signage will also be in place at the site.
The scheme is being funded through Winchester City Council’s Parking and Access Improvement Programme.
